General Information
	Many teachers, administrators and educators have taken classes with Craig Schmidt. He is knowledgeable, informative, and entertaining. His focus is on improving education through personal improvement and he comes highly recommend by almost everyone who has experienced his teaching. He partners with The University of St. Francis in Joliet Illinois, a small liberal arts university he hand selected for their history of dedication to the fulfillment of personal potential as well as the dignity and value of the individual.

Transcripts, Credits and Accreditation - All our classes are three graduate credits issued by The University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. The credits qualify for Michigan teacher and principal re certification. Most school districts’ requirements to move up on pay schedules, i.e. “MA+15.” With the approval of the particular school or program advisor, some students have even been able to use these credits toward their other higher degrees such as master degrees. Transcripts, from The University of St. Francis can be obtained, when ready, by going to the website below: If  a verification letter would help you until a transcript is available, just ask your instructor for one.

•	To Reserve A Seat - To reserve seat in a class, go back to the homepage and click the date of the specific class you are interested. This will generate an email to our registration department. If that doesn’t work, try clicking on the “Reserve A Seat” link on our homepage. This will give you alternate instructions.   
•	Class Times - Most classes are run in one weekend with the following timelines. Summer times are offered on weekdays and are posted accordingly. 
♣	Friday evening (when applicable) – 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm (20 minute break only)
♣	Saturday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm – (am and pm breaks as well as an hour lunch)
♣	Sunday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm – (am and pm breaks as well as an hour lunch)
NOTE: If you are susceptible to temperature variation, bring a sweater or light jacket to class with you
•	Registration and cost - Three graduate credits is $660 if paid by check or cash and $685 if paid by credit or debit card. There are no other charges. Unless otherwise designated, registration is completed during the class. 
•	Online Capability – We now have online capability and you’ll find our offerings on our schedule. We are also working on an blended format which will incorporate some on ground and some online.

•	Outside Assignments? - Most of the learning and work takes place in the class however there is an assignment due within two weeks of the end of the class. It is a “light” but practical assignment that adds value to the learning experience. 
•	Exact locations and any other pertinent information is available on the “Class Information” link on the homepage.
• Schedule A Class In Your Area – Our classes are held throughout Michigan. If you would like a class in your area, email or call us. We need 15 students, a date and a location. Most school districts are willing to let us use their facilities free of charge so their teachers don’t have to travel.
