PURPOSE OF KIDS KONNECTION
Create a clear understanding of the desire in our children to
accept Christ as their Lord and personal Savior;
Develop Biblical fellowship, loyalty, and leadership in the church;
Provide impact, Bible stories, and opportunities for service;
Develop Christian kids who can communicate their faith in
building God’s kingdom in love.

HELP CONNECT YOUR CHILD
1. Encourage your child to bring a Bible each week to class. Since the study is Bible centered, it is important to have personal Bibles in class. Teachers often encourage students to mark passages in their Bibles, for this is a working tool and is of help to them. If your child does not have a Bible and you’d like one, see Dan Gruber and a Bible will be given to your child.
2. Become committed to an area of service. The Kids Konnection staff members are working for the Lord in committing this time for development of young people. You, by giving of your time, set a godly example for your child to follow as they grow in God’s family.
3. Arrange for prompt payment of Dinner fees. Talk with Dan Gruber or Deb Smith about any question or help with payments.
4. Encourage and participate in daily Bible reading and prayer. Dan would be glad to advise you concerning devotional help. Regular Bible reading and prayer are encouraged to be done in the home. A regular time set aside each day is helpful. At meal time or just before bed are excellent times.
5. When your child is scheduled to sing (or participate in worship in any way), it is important that you help your child fulfill his/her commitments by getting him/her to the church on time.
6. Stress the importance of courtesy and good behavior at Kids Konnection. Emphasis on these matters at home will greatly ease the work of our staff.
