I run a small business that now specializes in the copying and restoration of old family photographs. Originally some 25 years ago I began work as a wedding and portrait photographer and later on black & white model portfolios. This provided excellent grounding as much of the day to day work was in the darkroom and the hand finishing and retouching of framed prints. Even then the restoration of loved photographs was always popular. In those days to produce a restored copy of a customers print it had to be rephotographed to produce a negative, then a print made which would then be retouched with paints and this rephotographed  again to produce a new print. This method was used in the industry for well over 100 years !

Now things have vastly improved with amazing results now possible by using digital technology combined with those traditional skills I learnt years ago.

Now I run a full working studio taking photographs and also selling my own work which you may already have seen in local major shopping Centers
