in 1915. The traditional “cracker house” was lovingly restored to a superior standard in 2006. It is comprised of 2 bedrooms, a traditional sleeping porch,
open plan living room with dining area, and fully updated kitchen and bath,
all under central heat and air conditioning. There is a fully screened back porch with additional dining area and a sun deck. The hardwood floors, bead board walls and fireplace are just a few of the home’s original features. The cottage is available
for vacation or seasonal rental, and is within easy walking distance of bridge fishing, boat rentals, jet ski rentals, parasailing, eco-tours, deep sea and charter fishing, dockside dining and fresh fish markets.

The Shack, an additional studio cottage, was completely restored in 2007 and is now available for an extra fee.
