The Sea Scout Ships Corsair (all-male) and Viking (all female) are sailing programs for high school-aged youth in San Francisco that focuses on sailing traditional whaleboats. In addition to operating these historic wooden vessels, the members learn boat maintenance, piloting, safety, and a number of other maritime skills.

Our year-round program includes weekend trips, competitions with other Sea Scouting groups from around the nation, and the highlight of our program, a two week summer cruise on the Sacramento-San Joaquin delta.

The girls meet every Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:00, and the boys meet from 6:00-7:45 every Thursday. The whole group meets every Saturday from 9:30-5:00. Click here for a map and directions to our meeting base. For more information, check the contacts page.
