I have been married to Jim for 26 years.  Micki finished college at UNL, and she married Tyler in July 2007.  She is teaching science in Malcolm, NE.  Jake just graduated from high school in 2009 and is in college at UNL.  Kramer is 5 years old and Newton is 12.    Click for the weimaraner page!  Ethan James Fries, my grandson, was born on April 29, 2010!

I love to garden~I have lots of flowers and vegetables.  I also can pickles and salsa.

I have been running off and on since I was 16, and I have run lots of road races for fun.  I’m slow but I love it!  I did my first marathon in January ’06.  I finished my second one on October 7, 2007,  in Minneapolis!  My third one was in  San Antonio on November 16.   My fourth was Twin Cities again in 09.  Number 5 was in Vegas Dec 5, 2011!  Training started May 30 for #6 in Twin Cities again.
