Property taxes are out of line with the value we are receiving from them and the Milwaukee County Board voted to raise our taxes yet again in 2007.  That’s why I decided to run for County Supervisor.  Although I did not make it through the primary I am not going away!  I learned a lot about running for public office and I met hundreds of people and made countless new friends.  Over 2,200 of you voted for me and my message of Smarter Taxes and Accountable Government in the primary and I will continue to carry that torch and fight for taxpayers’ rights here in Milwaukee County.

That means I’m going to fight to improve efficiency in the way our services are managed in order to provide better services for the taxpayer’s dollar.  I’m going to champion safety in our parks and in the rest of the county.  I’m going to lay out here on my web site the information that Supervisor Weishan and his tax-and-spend buddies on the County Board don’t want you to see.  This County Board is counting on you to take their high tax pill and swallow it but we aren’t going to take high taxes for the sake of high taxes anymore!  I invite you to join me in this fight, together we can make a lasting difference.
