Why C4I? With approximately 10,000 preschool students with disabilities transitioning into kindergarten every year, it is critical that they receive the highest quality services in their earliest years. Formulated during our many years in inclusive education, Collaboration for Inclusion enables teachers to measurably improve the social, cognitive and physical development of all students in their classrooms.

Collaboration for Inclusion parallels the recommendations and policies on early education that are being developed by the New York State Board of Regents. Like those policies, our approach includes standards-based curricula, inclusive settings, instruction by highly qualified and trained educators with an emphasis on early literacy, and an environment that coordinates services and provides information and support to families. As recommended by the state, Collaboration for Inclusion brings school districts and community-based organizations together to ensure that children can begin receiving the services they need for academic success.
