Dear Colleagues in the Council of Leaders,

Greetings! Our Mid-term Conference is fast approaching and this is a reminder

for all of us to finalize preparations to attend the conference. We are going to

hold our meeting in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 10:00AM

to 4:00PM ET.

Pres Roldan Sarmiento of the Bolanon sa Michigan (BOSAMI) has a venue

prepared for us, and will include transportation to and from the meeting venue

from our hotel. Lunch will be individual pay.

This period is also the Grand Reunion of the alumni and staff of the Bohol Provincial Hospital School of Nursing, and we are taking advantage of this event because many of our Council members have spouses who are alumni of this great Nursing Institution.

The hotel is the “Greektown Casino Hotel” Detroit, Michigan. The reservation department can be contacted at 1-313-223-2999. Please identify yourself with the code, “Grand Reunion International”.

The rate is $119.00 for double beds and $109.00 for single king bed.

The Grand Reunion organizers are also inviting us to join them during the Family Night on Friday, July 2, and the Gala Night on Saturday, July 3. Both events begin at 6:00 PM and the cost is $75.00 per event or $150.00 for both. Attires is designated; “As Appropriate” for the Family Night, and “Formal” for the Gala Night.

Detroit is near Canada so please bring your passports if you’d like to visit Canada.

I will be Toronto Thursday, July 1, to pay respects to the late Regional VP Boy Baluca of Eastern Canada. Any of you who would like to join me on this side trip is more than welcome and will be most appreciated.
