I am the photographer and the publisher of this site. I was born and raised in a Transylvanian town (western part of Romania) in the near vicinity of the mythical Carpathian Mountains. Although I’m a self taught artist, I owe part of what I know and have become, to all the great people I encountered throughout my journeys, teachers, monks, friends and family, but mostly, talented artists that loved what they did. 

I am also an electronic musician, composer, sound designer/ video editor, painter and Iaido and Zen practitioner. Currently, I leave and operate in the greater Boston area and after many years of frustration, I finally enjoy the benefits of modern technology in both photography and music composition. But, despite the fact that the recent years brought me some recognition and success, art it never comes cheap or without sacrifices; I left the world I knew and everything I was, in the pursuit of my dreams; deep inside though, I know that at the end, it will be all worth it...

About My Photography:

I photograph in digital format, mostly landscape, people and places I visit. By formation and during the day I am an IT Engineer at Genzyme (Biotech Pharmaceutical)

About My Music:

My musical style varies from Euro Trance/ Electronica to Soundtrack, Ambient and New Age. I record and produce my own music at “Lone Monk Studio” (aka my bedroom)... You can listen to some samples of my music on MySpace, iTunes, or on my SNOCAP store to the right. 

About my other interests and activities:

Digital video, classical painting

Zen practice (sitting meditation in the lineage of Kodo Sawaki and Taisen Deshimaru)

Iaido practice (Japanese swordsmanship).

I enjoy a lot, traveling to Europe in the company of family and friends and some good home made wine.
