Connie Hanna:

    Virginia’s most creative

       Wedding officiant &

Celebrant

Mission Statement:

It is my intention as a wedding minister and officiant to honor love,  our  highest form of human expression.  I am a minister of the God of Love.

I am a specially licensed Wedding Officiant and celebrant for the Commonwealth of Virginia.  I delight in creating unique and meaningful wedding ceremonies based on faith in LOVE, in language that suits your sensibilities and spirituality.  The essential element to any marriage is a declaration of love, and there is no end to the manner in which this can be expressed in a wedding ceremony.

The Officiant is responsible for the spoken text of the wedding ceremony.   For those who are not currently members of a religious community, a licensed wedding officiant is employed to perform the service.  Additionally, for those couples who may consider themselves spiritual but not religious, a wedding officiant such as myself brings a spiritual element to the non-church wedding.

I am one of those grateful individuals who feels gifted with a desire to serve others with  my passion for language and the spoken words of romance.

I believe that love is holy. I believe that love and commitment deserve to be honored, regardless of race or gender.  I believe John Lennon was right

when he sang “Love is all there is”.

May you be well and happy,

Connie

Dear Connie,

“Thank you so much for making our wedding ceremony so special!  We were lucky to find someone who listened to us and understood who we are, as a couple and as individuals, and it showed that you took the time to do so!  Your words were unique and very personal-the ceremony truly moved us!  We would gladly recommend your services to anyone!”

“Often, people have unrealistic expectations of their partners.  In order to stay monogomous one’s partner is expected to be all things, from seducer to supporter.  It is the inability of any one person to fulfill this role that leads to such a high divorce rate. “
