The ‘Worm’ Core laboratory provides a number of services to the scientific community to help facilitate research using the model organism C. elegans. These services include:

The Worm Core laboratory is one of several groups within the HSC Core Research Facilities at the University of Utah. To offset the costs of maintaining the Worm Core, fees are charged for each service based on the cost of materials. All attempts are made to keep fees at a minimum, and are listed under each service. The fees may be subject to change.
Services are performed on a “first come, first served” basis and due to demand, priority is given to on-campus laboratories.
