Late tonight, our advanced copy of The Real Ghostbusters Complete Collection arrived on our doorstep. We immediately opened the box and started reliving our childhood.

The set comes in a beautiful, perfect sized Firehouse case. There are holograms around the box (very 80s), the Ecto-1 is screeching out the front doors and each window was carefully designed. The cases in which the DVDs are enclosed are stunning, beautiful steel, amazing colors and great cover work - these were designed by pros. This is a dream set, this is the set we have been waiting for.

One great extra is the Bonus Disk that has the unaired, four minute pilot showing an evil Slimer, no voice talent and the entire crew in the orignal film based tan uniforms. It was a real treat, I really enjoyed it. Also on the disk is great interviews with the cast and crew - each interview is a good length and has good, in-depth questions...a must watch for any fan.

We have only watched four episodes so far, but we promise to give a full review when we finish the set. As for right at this moment, this is THEE dream set we have been waiting for. I can’t emphasize this enough, GET THIS SET!
