What is school like for an Afghan student? It’s very difficult to say because every school and family is different but I’ll try to give you my impressions of school for the kids we met. First, you must take your own school experience and throw it out the window. This is very different. Second, you must remember that these kids did not go to school for many years at all. Third, you must realize that there are a lot of people trying to make this better, including you and Julie.
