The Falcons took on 3A Clinton HS for  the Sandlapper Invitational Bracket Championship.  Senior Rick Davis took the mound for the Falcons and gave up a lead off bunt single and after that proceeded to strike out 11 and no more hits over the next five innings leading the Falcons to a 15-1 Championship victory in a 5 inning mercy rule game.  The Falcon pitching this week gave up 4 runs in 4 games and outscored their opponents 45-4 in route to the bracket championship.  Kyle Williamson and Blaine Walker led the way offensively with three RBI a piece.  Kyle Williamson was named to the all-tournament team for his performance both on the mound and with the bat.  The Falcons played error free baseball for the second straight contest.  The score was 1-0, Clinton leading until the Falcons erupted for 8 runs in the 4th and 7 more in the 5th to seal the deal.
