What is Power of the Pen?

Power of the Pen is a creative writing club.  We practice writing to prompts,  which make our writing skills better.


It is an educational writing program for 7th and 8th graders in Ohio, and there are  three levels of competition writing (district, regional, and state) where students compete in timed, impromptu writing with immediate feedback from the judges.


We meet weekly to develop and practice different methods of creating stories and practicing out writing skills.

When does Power of the Pen meet?

We meet after school on Tuesdays  from 2:45 - 3:30.  Students will need to provide their own transportation home.
