Take your ski touring to the next level by learning all about skiing in glaciated terrain. Glacier formation, route finding, roping for glacier travel and crevasse rescue are all covered in this 3 day course which takes place in the spectacular Spearhead Range.

Included in the price: Instructor, use of harness transceiver, shovel, probe and group technical gear.

Not included in the price: Back country lift access pass, transportation, food, tents and personal clothing and equipment (list supplied on booking). Winter Mountain Skills Course

Put together an Avalanche skills training two with a glacier ski touring course and add in a bunch of training in navigation, winter survival, and ski mountaineering and you get our complete winter mountain skills course. 5 days in a glaciated mountain setting with our super experienced guides will load you up with a whole lot of skills to take into your next winter mountain adventure.

Intro to Ski Touring

Looking to get into ski touring? This course will get you started with the basics of gear choice, how to put all that nice gear to use in the back country and how to move through and spent a night in the winter mountain environment. This 2 day course will help you make that 1st step into the winter backcountry
