For the third successive year we have no frog spawn in our pond which, considering all the talk of extinction these days (see last blog entry) is worrying.

Even a poppadom in our pond, doing a very bad frog spawn impression, wasn’t enough to induce a smile.

It was thrown from the kitchen window after catching fire under the grill and barely made three metres proving that, contrary to what you might think the Sanskrit says on the back of the packet, poppadoms make crap frisbees.
