I guess every day I wait on the albums makes them better. Just recently I went to New Hampshire and on the trip I brought my music and lyrics to look over. I started to see a pattern with some of the songs in that the samples I am choosing are based in the 70s. A 70’s theme is evolving for one of the albums that would not have happened if I didn’t take my time. The last two took 10 years... These are taking the same amount of time.

The conservative financial agenda works, but only for the wealthy. The wealthier you are the better the conservative plan will work for you and your investments. Like feudalism, the middle and lower classes are willing to go along with this system as long as they feel protected. Inevitable something terrible happens (like an attack or natural disaster) and we don’t feel protected anymore. So instead of relying on a costly government we feel we might be better off just protecting ourselves. So we adopt a more liberal agenda.
The liberal financial agenda also works. We find the most intelligent average joe we can to lead. And under this new system we start off with great ambitions, but eventually we’re tempted by our vices. We party too long and spend every last dime we have. Again, something terrible happens, but this time we blame it on our foolhardiness. Unlike the previous we still love our party president, but we know we can’t continue on that path. Instead, we need to more conservative. Adopting more ethics, morals, and it’s expected that greater safety will ensue. This continues until our safety is breeched once again.. And so the cycle continues....
... “History will teach us nothing” - Sting
... “Don’t know your past you don’t know your future” - Ziggy Marley

A lot has also happened in seven years. Infinity & Question were recorded on a PowerMac G3... before the iMac was even born.

The writing process was finished back in ‘03-’04, but a lot of other things were happening in my life which pulled me away from my music... and myself. I can see much clearer now and I think I’m ready for this new challenge.

The new albums will be experimental, just like my first. I hope I can keep up with all the changes in music that have happened over the past few years. I will also try to stay true to all my influences.

I’m excited about everything that’s now possible with the new technology!

Well 1999 was a long time ago, but believe it or not that’s how long I’ve been out-of-it... in more ways than one. But I’m back and I’m looking forward to a new year... and a new album... Silence.

I will again use the familiar formula of different genres to create an experience which grabs you and pulls you in to the music. Building on this I hope to continue my collaboration with other artists. I feel this strengthens the final product, so it can be experienced for years to come.
