As I was thinking about how to start this blog it dawned on me that this is our last Honduras blog for the time being. We don’t know what God holds for our future but we are excited to see what he has in store for us. We are going to be packing this Wednesday and Thursday we are taking the 4 hour bus ride to San Pedro Sula to get a hotel room for the night. We will get up Friday morning and get
Wednesday April 6th was an interesting day at the farm. Tuesday Morgan and I went to the internet and on our way back we saw a lot of smoke off in the woods. That smoke was the forest fire that is now impeding on the farm property. I would guess the fire is about one mile away from the property right now but it is probably going to head this way. We didn’t have school today, instead we raked. We
Well Morgan and I are back in Honduras and are having a blast. This trip has been so nice so far, and the farm is great. The farm is such a loving environment and everyone here is a friend. Since we have gotten back we have been adjusting to the schedule and how things work at school. Mr. Ben, our friend from church, has explained the program to us and we have worked out a schedule that is
As I am writing this blog entry I am laying in a nice bed at a hotel here in San Pedro Sula. We are about ten minutes from the airport and will leave in the morning to catch a flight home. I can’t tell you how excited we are to head home for a visit. The lord has richly blessed Morgan and I, and we have grown from these past 5 months. God has really challenged us and put a lot of things in front
Well the last two weeks have been exciting. Nothing big or drastic just a lot of things happening and the time is coming closer when we can come home for a good visit. We really need a break from things here. Not so much this country, but from not seeing our family and friends. Although, we will miss the girls. We like the town here and the way things work. It is nice being able to walk around
This blog is meant to keep our friends and family up to date on our status over seas and to let you know what were doing. We want to give you the chance to experience what we’re experiencing. A Honduran friend of ours told us of the saying in Honduras that “There’s always going to be a hair in the soup.” That is so fitting here, but not in a bad way. It helps us to remember that God’s in control and not us. He probably laughs at our plans. We hope you enjoy the blog.
