Dear Friend of Dix Park,

It is exciting times in the Park!  Over the last couple months, we have resurfaced the basketball court with new hoops on the way, repaved a multipurpose court and reinstalled the tennis court complete with new fencing, new netting and fresh paint. Dix Park is also sporting new granite benches, bleachers and a pathway from Dix Way into and around the perimeter the Park. We have also planted over 1,100 new plants and trees. 

And, we are awaiting the relocation of two telephone poles by National Grid that will make way for a new sidewalk connecting Hale Street to Dix Way. We expect to be completed in early August.

That’s the exciting news!  Thanks to generous donors in the community we have already raised approximately $60,000 with the Beverly Farms Improvement Society donating an additional $20,000.  While the project has come in on time and on budget, there are areas that continue to need improvement, beautification and ongoing maintenance. We would like to raise an additional $10,000 to install trees and plantings in the Park and establish a maintenance budget to ensure all renovations remain in good condition.
