  After years and years of playing in the kitchen, Claire Downe, owner of Cakes By Claire, is turning her dream of baking and decorating cakes professionally into a reality.

   Claire started cake decorating classes at age 14, and has since received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Sam Houston State University. She currently resides in Huntsville, Texas and is busy doing what she loves best -creating delicious & beautiful, custom-made cakes.
