Internal Landscapes in Oil Pastel
 
Oil Pastels are fairly-new-to-the-world.  They were created at the request of Pablo Picasso by Sennelier so he could draw and paint with intense colors on any surface.  They are the consistency of lipstick and can produce vibrant colors.  The Oil Pastels shown here were done on Sennelier “Oil Pastel Card” stock.
 
What do I mean by “Internal Landscapes”?  They are landscapes of my imagination - images that come to me when I let my Muse have her way.  I hope you will let your muse lead you to your own interpretation of the elements in each piece.
