I had the great good fortune to study watercolor under Georgiana Kettler. I had the equally great fortune to call her my friend. Her insight, vision, humor and kindness were part of every image she created and were gifts that have lasted my lifetime.

I studied pastels at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) and especially remember the guidance from one of my teachers who said that each image is one step on a journey.
