As the band left Chicago that morning it was cold and rainy drove. As they drove down I-55 the weather seemed to change every hour. The destination was St. Louis, or more specifically an outdoor stage that was part of the KDHX/Undertow Records Twangfest X party. The stage was set up in front of the Schlafly Bottleworks, a brewery and brewpub/restaurant on the edge of St. Louis. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the temperature soared above 100 degrees. But the band played an energetic set for the fans trying to stay cool with some awesome Schlafly beer.
