I have been a police officer for neatly 20 years; currently hold the rank of Lieutenant.
My experience includes jail positions, patrol, training assignments, investigative positions and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT).
I have been training police officers for many years in the areas of officer safety, firearms, arrest & control / defensive tactics. My martial arts experience includes oven 10 years of training. I have a lengthy background in Karate, with experience in JKD, Kung Fu San Soo and Krav Maga.

It incorporates realistic block & counters. The training methods are intense with full speed & power.
The training methods prepare the body to respond appropriately in a dangerous situation.
In working with Jean, you will develop your mind and body, so you can think under pressure, take appropriate action & deliver effective strikes, when needed. I just wanted to drop you a short letter to thank-you for lending your time and expertise to the KAPAP Academy at the recent Instructor Course. Your instruction and presentation of Muay Thai Striking techniques was excellent as was your ability to communicate the intent of each technique. Having worked with several specialized military and law enforcement units for the last 15 years I have been exposed to a variety of martial arts and the instructors/experts who claim to represent a particular art or style. Some experts? were as advertised while most were not, resulting in ego replacing education.
However, having had the opportunity to train with you at the KAPAP Academy, it was immediately apparent that you were, and are, the real deal.
