An inspiring collaboration. SF Bay Guardian

The New Jewish Filmmaking Project (NJFP), produced by Citizen Film, is a program of the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. NJFP films look at cultural diversity in the Jewish community from the point of view of Jewish teenagers, many of whom come from immigrant and/or mixed ethnic backgrounds.

HOLIDAZE

This year we will compose a series of documentary vignettes about the Jewish holidays. The pieces will offer poignant and funny, observations of do-it-yourself family rituals. The filmmakers will interview their family members and consider the mysterious relevance of faith in secular, multi-cultural lives.
