Surtex 2008

Great Art and Design knows no bounds! This is definitely the case with boutique art licensing agency Chris Chun Art + Design (CCAD) whose designs are creating excitement all over the world. CCAD are the only studio from Australia who will be exhibiting at Surtex following their successful debut last year.

“I think what makes us unique is that our designs are perceived as being very fresh and new. It has a lot to do with where we live in Australia - open space, sunshine and fantastic light. As a result, there is a sense of freedom, diversity and vitality in our works.

Iconic Australian designer Nicola Cerini has recently licensed her first signature range of ceramics & placemats with Ashdene and developed a range of wool rugs with Designer Rugs. Jenny Phillips has also signed a deal with Paper Rose UK to launch a new range of botanical greeting cards. Look out for Chris’s new work too. There are cards from Papyrus, a new quilting range of fabrics from Clothworks and new prints from ArtGroup.

“2008 is going to be an amazing year for us!” says Chris.

Chris Chun Art + Design will be introducing 3 new artist brands to the show this year; Cheryl Orsini – a popular children’s book illustrator, Skye Rogers – a whimsical artist/ author and Hamilton Baird – a new, sophisticated range of designs for the man who has everything.
