Chuck Todd has been a professional artist, illustrator and designer for 20 years. In the mid-1980s he studied drawing, painting, design and printmaking at Missouri State University and graduated with a BFA in 1989. He honed his skills as a narrative artist and visual journalist at the Springfield News-Leader. In 1996 he relocated and began graduate studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, receiving a master’s degree in illustration in 1999. His studies culminated with his thesis exhibition, “A Fratricide: The Heart of Stone.” Chuck’s art has been in exhibitions in the Bay Area, the midwest and most recently a solo exhibit, “Windows to Wildlife: Nature Paintings and Illustrations of Chuck Todd” at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum. He works in a variety of media: acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil and coffee.
