Some songs and collaborations by our friends and family. These tunes make the whole podcasting experience a lot more interesting and enjoyable. Thanks.

Auntie Sue
More like a big sister than an Auntie, Sue and I plan to do a lot more recording the near future. Sue’s voice is a comforting memory from way back when, when i didn’t have to think. Here are four songs we recorded together.

Use Me
My dear Auntie Susie and I doing a version of “Use Me” by Bill Withers.

Ode To Billy Joe
My dear Auntie Susie and I doing a version of “Ode to Billy Joe” by Bobby Gentry.

Marry You In The Sky
Actually I’m not in this at all. It’s all Auntie.

Side of the Road
My dear Auntie Susie and I doing a version of “Side of the Road” by Lucinda Williams.

Mr. Zeeche
Zeeche and I met on the internet(s) in early 2005 as guest contributors to Madge Weinstein’s Yeast Radio. Though he lives in London, England, and I live in Toronto, Canada, Z and I have become fast friends, and recently we’ve begun collaborating every once in a while on songs together. Caffeine and Alice Jones are two examples, and the songs are basically just Zeeche songs where I’ve added some small parts, but it makes me feel great to be able to work with such a talented singer/songwriter/musican. Here are some tunes that have been played on the Creek, and some stuff from Yeast Radio we did together. Zeeche has generously given me permission to post his stuff here. I hope you enjoy it all as much as I do.

Bock Bock (I’m Still a Chicken)
Zeech gives us a new spin on the original by Dave and Gary

Gettin’ Old
Classic Zeeche

Caffeine
An excellent tune by Zeeche. Hopefully he’ll send me some info about how this and the other songs came about. For now I’ll say that it was a joy to add a little backup guitars ad vocals to this track.

Alice Jones
Zeeche, you’ve to to tell me the story of this song. For now, enjoy. I added some backup percussions and guitars.

If You Love Her
I love this one. More on this later.

Let it Grow
Such a simple sentiment, but really it’s the first time I’ve heard it put this way. A wonderful tune.

I’m on Dark Speed Tonight
A tune Zeeche wrote about our comedy/sci-fi skit Dark Speed. It’s funny how a song about such a silly subject can have such feeling and meaning.

Gary (Take Care man)
When Gary first decided to leave the show, Zeeche sent us this song. Funny but sweet, this song shows you what a cool guy he is. Who does that?

A Chub Creek On A Monday (Is Like a Takeaway Meal on a Friday)
This is really a “bumper” or “show ID” that we receive from time to time for our podcast. This has to take the grand award of all time. I wish it went on for longer. Warning: turn down the bass on your stereo or you might blow a speaker. Ha ha.

Way Back When
Zeeche did this version of our theme song and it has become one of my favourite substitutes.

Mr. Lucky (demo)
A great moody song (he calls it a rough demo but I love it. Don’t kill me Z) by the fantastic Zeech

Zeeche and Dave (ZDW) for Madge
Before we did the stuff above, we had fun doing silly stuff for Yeast Radio. Here are a few. Z has done countless songs for Madge and all of them are amazing.

She Called it Yeast Radio
A song for Madge’s one year anniversary.

Madge on the Road (remix)
Something we mucked with for Madge’s one year anniversary. Really it’s just a song Zeeche did earlier and I added an insane amount of effects, instruments and vocals.

Madge One Year Analversary
This was so much fun. I so wish I could be in a band with Z singing lead.

Cousin Megs
Unfortunately we only ever recorded this song together. I hope to do more sometime. Megan has a beautiful voice. If you liked her song, send me an email about it and I’d be glad to pass it along to her. She’d be thrilled.

Landslide
Megan’s voice really shines through in this tune by the Dixie Chicks.

Marvin Suicide (www.marvinsuicide.org)
MC Chubby Cheeks
A little bumper from my pal Marvin. Yo. Bangin’ mate!

Wanker Girl from BLARM!
Chub
This is how I WankerGirl and I met. She’s my buddy. She’s a much better singer than she lets on. Shut up, Dana, you are so.

Shakespeare Souffle (www.shakespearesouffle.com)
Gary
Ken’s remake of the song that put Gary’s nipples on the map.

Pete Kemble (www.petekemble.com)
Chub Creek 3025
A cool electronic version of our theme song from Pete Kemble
