In 2003, Chrystalline worked with Chicago house pioneer, Roy Davis Jr. where she performed the vocals for the track, “I Love You So,” and most recently set up her own home studio where she is producing and singing.
Being an advocate of women in the music industry, Chrystalline founded ladydjs.com to support the national female DJ scene. And while this female DJ has been rocking the decks for the past seven years, it is her passion and creative outlook on music and art that sets her apart from the norm. “When the men of my tribe drum and sing and the women dance in unison, there is an amazing serge of energy, and a feeling of community,” according to Chrystalline’s bio. “It’s a very similar interaction at a gathering with a DJ and the crowd – when everyone is feeling the same beat and there is that sense of community for that moment you aren’t focusing on what divides you, there is a common connection that is so powerful
