A new approach to Bluegrass workshops
Dare to improvise and join that jam!
2 - 4 August in La Roche
Hickory Project (USA) will again run the workshop this year. They will be backed up by Sue Thompson (vocals) and Pierre Bastide (dobro), who is also the workshop coordinator.
They are all experienced music teachers and will stay in the same place and ensure 24/7 coverage of the workshop.
The workshop will still focus on how to get away from tablatures and make the most of your knowledge, at any level, to enjoy taking part in jams.
Slowjams will once again be a key part of the workshop.
The workshop is open to people with some knowledge of their instrument: comfortable with the basic chords and able to play some standard bluegrass tunes and songs.

C’est Hickory Project (USA) qui animera et assurera encore le stage cette année Ils seront aidés par Sue Thompson (voix) et Pierre Bastide (dobro) qui organise le stage pour Roch’évènements.
Ils sont tous expérimentés en matière de stage, atelier et cours de musique. Les profs sont hébergés avec les stagiaires et garantissent une implication 24 heures sur 24.
L’objectif du stage reste le même : se libérer des partitions afin de participer aux boeufs, quelque soit son niveau.
Le slowjam figurera à nouveau dans le programme.
Stage ouvert aux personnes ayant acquis des notions de leur instrument: à l’aise avec les accords de base et capables de jouer quelques thèmes et mélodies du bluegrass.
