Since its first edition in 2006, under the European World of Bluegrass umbrella, the international Bluegrass Festival at La Roche sur Foron has become established as a leading event in the European Bluegrass calendar.

The quality of the organisation, the friendly welcome and the relaxed atmosphere attract summer holiday crowds and local residents, as well as the international Bluegrass audience.

Some of the best bands from across Europe and the USA get to play for enthusiastic crowds of 12,000 people over four days.

The food and drink bars, the festival shopping market, the various activities and “animations” make it a truly family-friendly event right in the centre of this beautiful, medieval market town with the French Alps as a stunning backdrop.
