Born in Germany, Frankfurt a.M., in 1974. 
Lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal since 1996. 
Works as film director and producer. 

B.A. in Film Editing, M.A. in Film Direction, both from the National Filmschool in Portugal (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema). M.Phil in Aesthetics/ Philosophy of Art at the Lisbon University (Faculty of Letters). Founded with Isabel Machado in 2003 the production company C.R.I.M. Produções.

As a filmmaker, Christine explores the borders between reality and imagination. She has directed several short and media-length documentaries, awarded and shown at international film festivals. Still to be released in 2009, MOTHER FATIMA is Christine’s first feature-length documentary, and KINOTEL her first short fiction.shapeimage_1_link_0

Christine Reeh
