Chairman
Dave Christensen operated a successful major construction firm and associated companies in the Pacific Northwest for over three decades until he was drawn to boat manufacturing in 1978. Mr. Christensen’s vision of quality and dedication has become the goal of every employee at Christensen Shipyards and has resulted in the world-renowned yachts which bear his name.
President
Under the guidance of his stepfather, Dave Christensen; Joe Foggia began as a part-time apprentice with Christensen Shipyards at the age of 15. During high school and college he worked in the various production departments such as carpentry, fiberglass, mechanical, plumbing, etc. When he finished college in 1991 he continued on at Christensen Shipyards full-time in various arenas of Production Planning, Estimating, Project Management and Overall Operations Management which spanned the next ten years. In 2001 he became President and a managing partner. Under his leadership, the family tradition of building “no compromise” yachts continues.
