“ACTUALLY ADIEU” IS GOING TO CANNES INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Actually, Adieu My Love is headed to the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival! Chris orchestrated this dark and moody score back in 2007, and it is finally seeing the bright lights of this most renowned festival showcase.
SAMSUNG WORLDWIDE PROJECT
Chris is teaming up with Korean composer, Jay Kim, to arrange and orchestrate a most grandiose promotional /commercial project for the giant Samsung Corporation. It will be recording soon at Capitol Records in Hollywood, and with the Willamette University Chamber Choir in Salem, Oregon.
TANMA TV SERIES
Chris is working with composer Jay Kim on a Korean television drama. Currently, Chris is arranging music and orchestrating. More information coming soon.
ZOMBIE GIRL GOES TO HOT DOCS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Zombie Girl is going to Toronto to the largest documentary film festival in North America, HotDocs International Film Festival. Look out, this hot doc is on a roll!
THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL EASTER SPECTACULAR
Chris orchestrated/arranged music for the Hollywood Bowl’s Easter Celebration. The largest easter event in Los Angeles. the Hollywood Bowl packed 10, 000 spectators for the giant symphony orchestra and 100-piece chorale.
ZOMBIE GIRL GETS AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD
Zombie Girl: The Movie takes home the Spirit of Slamdance Audience Choice Award! In Park City, each screening was sold out days in advance, leaving many loyal fans to crowd the theater's isles and fire-escape!! This isn’t the last you’ll be hearing about this witty documentary.
GEORGIAN WAR HERO
Chris is teaming up with Georgian filmmaker Nikoloz Khomasuridze on three feature films this coming year. Filming will be taking place in Georgia, Russia, and USA. The first two films are spotlighting the violence between Russia and Georgia. One will be an epic war-time story, the second will be a dramatic story of war-time romance.

THUNDER CHANCE
Chris Thomas is underway on scoring a comedy by filmmaker, Sean-Michael Smith. Thunder Chance is the story of a man who will be the first to ride a little girl’s bike across Africa. Tune in to see what happens!
COCA COLA AD
Chris is teaming up with filmmkaer (and native Oregonian) Chris Farrington on a Coca Cola gig. The commercial is due to finish in January and be eligible for worldwide release.

CAPTAIN ABU RAED MAKES THE OSCARS SHORT LIST!
Amin Matalqua’s acclaimed film, Captain Abu Raed, has made the “short-list” for the Academy Awards considerations (in the Category of Best Foreign Film). Even better, Austin Wintory’s score (of which Chris was an orchestrator) has been projected as a consideration for Best Score.

Chris recently completed the special features music for CSI: NY Season 4 DVD.

CAPTAIN ABU WINS BIG WITH SUNDANCE!

Chris Thomas orchestrated this picture for Austin Wintory back in October 2007. After screenings at the Dubai International Film Festival and a middle east tour, Captain Abu Raed takes home both World Cinema Award: Dramatic Film and Audience Favorites Feature Award at Sundance Film Festival.

DRAGON WARS (D-WAR) - Sony Pictures
The DVD release of D-WAR is here! Chris Thomas and Jay Kim were hired as music editors in the final stages of production. Its reslease in Korean theaters found 80 Million viewers, making D-WAR the highest grossing film in Korean history.
