Chris Moulin
I am a cognitive neuropsychologist. I completed my BSc in Psychology at the University of Lancaster (1994) and my PhD at the University of Bristol (1999). My current research interests focus on neuropsychological impairments of memory. In particular, I am interested in the interaction of executive function and long-term memory. Research themes include metacognition (i.e. knowing what you know), inhibition (i.e. suppressing unwanted information), and the sensations of memory (e.g. déjà vu). I have been very involved in researching and making people aware of déjà vécu, a rare disorder of memory, similar to persistent déjà vu. I was the founding director of the Memory and its Disorders MSc programme at Leeds University.
