All about Kevin Wanzer

Kevin lives a very unique life that may be hard for others to understand. As an adult, he still goes to high school. And middle school. And elementary schools. And quite a view universities and colleges.  As a matter of fact, he visits about 300 schools a year, sharing his assembly that has been noted as one of the most effective programs for young people today.
Since 1983, Kevin has been noted as being able to ‘reach the unreachable’ with a style unlike most audiences have ever thought possible. Superintendents and Principals, Teachers and Counselors, Parents and Adult Leaders, and most importantly, young people, are living examples that Kevin’s program delivers in a way that is hard to believe.
His “Got Aloha?” message has moved, touched and inspired, hundreds of conferences, thousands of schools and millions of young lives in nearly all 50 states, Canada, Europe and China.
As a sophomore at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Kevin founded a student group that would educate and mentor elementary students. That was the launching pad he needed to attract the attention of The White House and a variety of national programs who began inviting Kevin to speak to their schools and conferences while he was only 16 years old. As a junior in high school, Kevin was an appointee to the White House Conference for a Drug Free America and is, to this day, one of the nations youngest appointees in the nations history. Kevin was even invited as the guest of first lady Nancy Reagan, to address the United Nations. He is also a former staff member of the David Letterman Show in New York City. An honors graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Kevin now has spent the last two decades inspiring young people to live life to their fullest. To look within and be a role model to themselves and to embrace and live the aloha spirit - focusing on attitude, loving yourself and others, overcoming obstacles and having a sense of humor.
In addition to delivering his message on the platform, Kevin has contributed to a series of books written for middle school, high school and beyond. He has also authored a poem titled Choose To Love that is now a national children’s book.
Married in August 2004, Kevin lives in Indianapolis where he shares his life with countless angels including his dogs Maisie, Mattie and Dreifus. He adopted his daughter, Scout, in 2006 and spends most of his time helping with homework. He is a member of the National Speakers Association where he has earned the designation of C.S.P. ~ certified speaking professional.http://www.nsaspeaker.org/find_speaker/why_csp.shtml
