Middle School Programs The middle school years are perhaps the most crucial time for adolescence. This impressionable age group is so innocent that it can be difficult to discuss natural adult decisions. After all, young people this age want three things: to have fun, have friends and to do the right thing. However, many times having friends and fun outweigh doing the right thing. In my ALOHA presentation for grades 5 through 8, I focus on challenging the students to achieve personal excellence by breaking the mold-doing the unexpected and being unique. It is a fast-paced, hilarious program that will not only have the audience sitting on the edge of their seat, but it will have them sitting back and thinking about the important messages about character, leadership, prejudice and integrity. I also focus on staying drug-free, eliminating prejudice before it starts and being role models for each other.
