High School Assembly Programs One of my favorite comments after a high school assembly was from a young man in Canada. He said, “I came into this convocation to give you a really hard time and heckle you. But once you got started, I actually relaxed, had a good time and learned stuff I had no idea was true.” That is pretty common. When I speak to a high school audience with my “A.L.O.HA!” message, an amazing transformation takes place. The stereotypes are broken. Students let down their walls. They sit up, laugh, listen and learn. It is best described as organized chaos-a roller coaster ride of comedy that does not just educate about authenticity, alcohol and other drugs.
