Thank you for visiting my website.

I have been a passionate visual artist for my entire life. Since before I can remember I knew I was destined for a career in art. The first 20 years were spent in the publishing and advertising fields as both an art director and illustrator. The last 20 years have been devoted to my true calling as a fine artist.

I am convinced that I see the world in my own unique way. My paintings are a representation of the magic that occurs when specific shapes and forms, enhanced by a particular light with distinct color combinations come together. For me the possibilities are endless so that as soon as I complete one piece I’m already envisioning the next.

I like to think of my style as representational with a twist, especially in my most recent work. Assembling significant photos, pictures from any printed media and objects such as clothing, jars of honey or old, rusted gates give me the opportunity to satisfy my desire to paint everything.

In addition to my paintings I have developed my own technique of figure drawing, which, evolved over many hours of working in the studio with the model. I found that hand-made pastels on fine imported paper perfectly express my passion for the human form.
