Our first album is actually a work in progress. We’ve created a makeshift studio in Donny and Sarah’s garage and fittingly me, Mike and D have been playing around with Garageband since Thanksgiving. As a whole, the album will include 8 songs that Donny and I have collected over the years based on my poems and our combined melodies.  I didn’t start learning to play the guitar until 2004 when I went to Malawi. I left with a travel guitar and a heart full of words and experience that have wanted release for years. Singing and playing the guitar every night in Zolokere was an unexpected therapy. And Gama, as patient as he was, was also my biggest fan, probably the only one.  As you listen please bear in mind that we haven’t yet mastered the songs to their entirety. As we progress we will be posting more professional sounds and recordings.  Once the album is complete I’ll also be including credit to everyone who is involved with its production.
