Bluegrass music coming from the hen house?? Yep…shake your tail feathers!! Baakaaahhhh!! Come join the summer celebration of northern music and culture on top of the world at the 3rd Annual “Chickenstock Music Festival” in Chicken, Alaska.
‘Chickenstock’ debuted in 2007 with the Last Frontier Bluegrass band entertaining an audience of chicken-lovers with tunes like “Sitting on Top of The World” and “Wild Bill Jones”. Chickenstock 2008, held on June 14th, proved to be another great time and hosted three talented Alaskan bands and a local guest artist. Chickenstock 2009 will be the third annual and a new gathering of global ‘chickenites” and ‘chickenuts’. So pack up your ‘nest’, ‘comb’ your feathers and come ‘strut’ your stuff in the midnight sun on June 13th, 2009.
