The Youth Summer program will be operated by the Chester Bowl Improvement Club for the Summer 2009 season. There will be fees for the program, but there are scholarships available. The Basic fee structure is: One time summer registration fee: • $20.00 per child if parent is CBIC member. (CBIC membership will be more throughly defined at the June 1 CBIC meeting.) • $25.00 per child if non-member. Daily Fees (in addition to the registration fee) • $10.00 suggested donation/day per child or $15.00 per family. • Field trip costs extra. • Lunch $2.00/child day. The program will operate Monday through Thursday, 10:00 - 4:00. 2009 Chester Creek Concerts 26th Anniversary Season The Summer concerts are being run by the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation department this year. It’s never too early to start volunteering at Chester Bowl for the year (or perhaps catch up on a few hours owed from last ski season) Help with the Summer Youth Program Chester Bowl needs several people to help with registration for the Youth Summer Program on June 15 from 9:45am until 12.15pm.  Enjoy live music while helping out Chester Bowl needs five to six volunteers each Tuesday night from 6:30-9pm this summer to help out with traffic control, playground supervision, and cleanup for the Chester Creek Concert series.  It is never too early to start volunteering at Chester Bowl for the year or to catch up on a few hours owed from last ski season... and never more enjoyable than on a nice summer evening with great music.  Available slots will be filled on a first come first served basis, so check out the concert calendar now to find your favorite bands, and then contact Thom Storm at 218-724-9832 or chesterbowl@clearwire.net to secure your preferred nights.  The Web Site is being updated for the latest programing. Application 2009 FallFest Welcome to the 2009 Chester Bowl Youth Summer Program! Chester Bowl is a beautiful 117 acre park in Duluth, MN. In the winter the Alpine Hill, with a double chairlift and 175 feet of drop, handles up to 960 skiers per hour. During the summer the park has many exciting programs and concerts. It also features beautiful hiking trails, fishing and soccer fields. The Chester Bowl Improvement Club (CBIC) is a non-profit supporting the activities in the park.
