Thank you for visiting the CDM INFO spot! This is a temporary site for family and friends of the Conservatory of Dance and Music. A place where you can find out details of upcoming events for competition, recital, class schedules, look at photos and videos. Remember that the site is still under construction. To CDM dancers, feel free to send me any photos you would like me to post, blogs etc. We are hoping for a useful, informative and fun site to better communication within the school. THE DIRECTOR
The Conservatory of Dance and Music is under the direction of Cynthia Fisher, A.R.A.D., a Dual Examiner of The Royal Academy of Dance. She has examined Graded and Vocational students and teachers around the world and conducted workshops and courses across Canada. She has been inspiring students with her enthusiasm and love of dance for over 25 years.

The Conservatory of Dance and Music was established in 1988. Our mandate is to bring out the best in each student by inspiring them to fulfill their potential. Our students have won numerous over-all awards and scholarships in competitions. They have also been accepted at The National Ballet School, The Ailey School, The Joffrey Ballet School, North Carolina School of the Arts, Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal pre-professional program and The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. They have been awarded scholarships to Quinte Ballet School, The Banff Centre for the Arts and Interlochen Arts Academy. Our students have also qualified for the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance’s Phyllis Bedells Bursary and the Adeline Genee Awards competitions which are held all over the world.
Former students have been hired professionally by Carnival Cruise line, Toronto Raptors Dance Pak,
appeared on Broadway and in national touring companies of Evita and Phantom of the Opera as well as the film Chicago and on the TV series Relic Hunter and Missing.
