Inspired by Liz’s post on GardenRant today, I thought I’d add this topiary post today. Nessie here was spotted briefly at Disney World, Orlando. Like Liz, I don’t think topiary art is for me. Not enough space for a decent-sized bush and it just seems too labor intensive. Besides, at this point a formal trimmed piece would look out of place in my casual, laissez-faire garden. Although I do admire a good topiary now and then. I liked this one specifically because it was composed of multiple shrubs over a large area. I am even more intrigued by “arborsculpture,” growing trees in shapes. Here’s a couple good site to check out on arborsculpture:
