The thing I like best about our Garden Walk is the creative ideas and their executions in our urban gardens. One of the more unique ideas has to be these stairs in a garden on Norwood Ave. Above are strawberry plants incorporated into the stairs. Each of the extra deep steps have “troughs” built in before the riser. Such a simple idea. Wish I’d thought of it.

I do have planters of varying sizes on my deck and front porch steps, but that seems pedestrian after seeing these. Have you mastered creative ways to handle stairs? Are you a stair master?
