More Great Gardens in Great Gardens
There is also an online component to the issue. If you buy a copy, there is a code that allows you to see more gardens in a slide show on their web site. The online presentation shows even more of each of these gardens.
Above, in a double-page spread about planting vertically, is a Park Street garden tended by a long-time Garden Walk committee member, Bob Fink.
There may be more Buffalo gardens in the magazine. One downside of having so many gardens on the Walk, and having my own Garden on the Walk, is I haven’t been around to see all the gardens!
These are among the 260+ gardens open for Garden Walk Buffalo the last weekend of July (this year, Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and 27). If you’d like to see any of these gardens yourself - you’re invited! And it’s free!

This garden, on my street, Lancaster Avenue, is simply known to all as “Mary’s Garden.”
This garden is on Granger Place. Note the garden Walk poster on the right side of the arbor. The poster artwork is of the scene in the photo!
The pergola for this garden can be seen in the inset shot on the right, here.
