Trentin Manning
1986 - 2008
For those of us that knew Trentin Manning, our hearts were broken when we found out that Trentin passed away in an auto accident. Trentin was one of the most selfless and humble people I’ve ever met. He was one of the best bass players I’ve ever known and his young age made it all that more impressive.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the SPCA in Colerain.
As we process through our own memories of Trentin, our prayers are with his love Emily and Trentin’s family. Those of us that played with Trentin will always remember the joy on his face during performances. It was magnetic, you just wanted to be around Trentin when he played. He always made everything more fun. Even the conversations back stage were more fun when Trentin was around.
At Trentin’s funeral the pastor said Heaven is described as “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind can conceive, the place that God has prepared for Trenton.” The pastor went on to say that I’m sure as Jesus was showing him around Trentin could be heard saying,......SWEET!!!
Trentin was a Christian and he loved and served with passion. For those of us left behind to deal with the missing laughs, jokes, smiles and beautiful music, we will always remember Trentin. But until we get to laugh with him again, we must settle for the beautiful mosaic that God will make from the broken pieces of this tragedy.
Take a minute and remember Trentin!
