The University of Chapman boasts one of the best rising lacrosse teams in the west. WIth top three finishes the past three years Chaptown has burst on to the scene and has no intentions of slowing down. Many outsiders are baffled how time and time again the team graduates their best players and is still able to field a championship caliber squad. The answer is quite simple, All-American talent is lured in by the promises of fun, the most important aspect of any sport. All kids want these days is to go somewhere where they know someone who can tap them in to the social pipeline. A place where the beer flows like wine, Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano; a little place called Chaptown.
I know what you’re thinking; the French are assholes. But come to the beautiful Chapman Campus in Orange County and then you’ll understand why premium lacrosse talent keeps committing to a small liberal arts college that until recently didn’t let the team use there only sports field.
